Community Engagement Session

The topic of amalgamation between the Towns of Labrador City and Wabush has long been discussed.  Following the feasibility study conducted in 2017, the Towns are now seeking input from our citizens.

We are asking you to reflect on the following questions and come prepared to discuss:

1. How do you feel about your current service delivery from your municipality?
2. What do you think an amalgamated community should look like?
3. What process would you recommend be used to elect a new Mayor and Council of an amalgamated community?
4. Which of the three options do you support and why?  Stay Same, Service Agreements, Amalgamate
