About Carole Spicer

Conceived in Newfoundland and born in Ontario, I always felt I belonged in both worlds or neither. In 2009, my husband and I decided to move our family to Pasadena, NL. When my grandmother heard the news she said, “Finally! Carole is where she belongs.”

I am 10th generation Canadian with my family originating from Newfoundland and Labrador, primarily on the Burin and Bonavista peninsulas. Currently I reside in Pasadena, NL with my husband Tim and our cat Velcro. Our street is named for my great-grandfather Joseph Wagg who was one of the early settlers of Midland (now part of Pasadena) in 1936.

I am a certified master trainer and facilitator with over 25 years experience in both private and public sectors.

A natural storyteller, I am Chairperson of the Pasadena Heritage Society – NL, and Secretary of the Pasadena Public Library Board. I serve as a Mentor with Study & Stay NL and Futurpreneur Canada.

If not volunteering, I enjoy snowshoeing, kayaking, reading, researching my family tree, or watching my beloved Toronto Maple Leafs. Even though I do not drink coffee, I love to “go for coffee”! Feel free to reach out to connect.
